Goldierocks to DJ at RugbyRocks London 2012
We are delighted to announce our first live act for RugbyRocks London 2012 - Goldierocks!
Goldierocks is Sam Hall- international DJ, theatrical performer and TV/radio broadcaster. Sam spends her time invading festivals and after-parties all over the world. Always up for an adventure: she’s eclectic, passionate and a bit of a giggle.
Sam has stage dived, rocked out and propelled herself off various stages around the globe having DJ’d her unique blend of festival chic, bassy remix and wonky electro to thousands across five continents. Everywhere from Ibiza Rocks to Glastonbury’s East Dance Stage, inside the igloo disco of Snowbombing in Austria to the palm fringed shores of Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi Southern Africa; Australia’s Gold Coast to cowboy country, playing SXSW in Texas. As well as exclusive private parties for the likes of Giorgio Armani, MTV European Music Video Awards, Madonna & Jade Jagger.

Offstage Sam presents her international weekly radio show ‘The Selector’ (broadcast in over 29 countries & on NME Radio in UK) as well as presenting prime time TV for 4Music, VBS.TV, Xbox, Diesel U Music Radio and hosting on the red carpet at such prestigious events as the Brit Awards.
Earning a reputation as a musical connoisseur with her self-titled showcase club night in London Sam’s encyclopedic knowledge of music soon led to industry wide respect. Alongside Panel discussions at In The City & The Radio Festival, guest articles in Clash and Music Week she is also an ambassador of British culture for The British Council- hosting talks in Shanghai to Ukraine, Kazakhstan and beyond.
Back in the studio Goldierocks teams up with Aaron Audio (son of Grammy award winning Trevor Horn) to remix the likes of The Kooks, Foals and Crystal Fighters as well as producing monthly free podcasts, mixtapes and late night dance shows on Mexico's Ibero FM & China's U-Dance FM.
